Mums and Bubs Classes:
Our Physio-led Mums & Bubs classes offer a personalised postpartum recovery experience, designed around your individual needs, goals, and stage of recovery.
Running for 5 weeks, with a maximum of 4 mums per class, each session includes an individualised exercise program using matwork, small Pilates apparatus, free weights and gym equipment to help you rebuild strength, improve mobility and cardio fitness and regain confidence in your body. Bring your bub along, connect with other mums and move together in a supportive environment.
Suitable for mums from 6 weeks to 6 months postpartum (before your bub becomes an active crawler). Medical clearance and an Initial Consultation are required prior to joining. Health fund rebates available.
Prenatal Mat Pilates:
Our Physio-led Prenatal Mat Pilates classes are designed to support you through every stage of pregnancy. These small group classes follow a structured program where everyone moves through the same session, with modifications provided to suit your needs. With a maximum of 6 mums per class, youโll build strength, improve mobility, prepare your body for birth, and connect with other expecting mums in a welcoming environment. Classes run in 5-week blocks. An Initial Consultation and medical clearance are required prior to joining. Health fund rebates available.
1:1 Clinical Rehabilitation:
Receive personalised Physiotherapy-led rehabilitation in our fully equipped gym, with a program tailored to your body, goals, and stage of recovery. Using a combination of clinical Pilates, strength training and gym equipment, we support you to rebuild confidence, improve movement, and return to the activities you love.
Suitable for injury rehabilitation, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain and ongoing strength and mobility goals. An Initial Consultation is required prior to joining. Health fund rebates are available. Please email us to discuss a suitable time for your session.

Your initial consultation is designed to understand your individual needs and create a safe, personalised plan for your pregnancy or postpartum journey.
Weโll discuss:
Your pregnancy, birth plans, or birth experience and recovery
Your goals, concerns, and any symptoms you may be experiencing
A Physiotherapy Pilates assessment and movement screening
Pilates foundations, including breathing, core connection, and safe movement strategies
Exercise recommendations tailored to your stage of pregnancy or postpartum recovery
Please note: Alannah does not perform internal pelvic floor examinations. If required, we can refer you to a local Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist for further assessment and support.
This session ensures you feel confident, supported, and ready to join our classes. Where appropriate, Alannah may recommend private sessions prior to joining a group class.

Yes, Pilates is highly beneficial during pregnancy, helping to maintain strength, flexibility, and posture.
Before starting, it's essential to gain medical clearance from your healthcare practitioner. We also require you to complete an initial consultation prior to attending class.
Our physiotherapist has additional training in Womenโs Health and holds pre/postnatal Pilates qualifications, ensuring you receive safe and effective support throughout your journey.

No prior experience is necessary! Our classes are designed to accommodate all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners. Weโll guide you through each movement and provide modifications to suit your fitness level and experience.

Yes! Our Pre & Postnatal Reformer classes are suitable after a C-section once you have been medically cleared to return to exercise and your scar is healing well (typically from 6 weeks postpartum). Exercises will be adapted to support your recovery as needed.
An initial consultation is required prior to joining class.

Just bring yourself, water, grip socks and a small towel. We provide all equipment.

For best results, we recommend practicing Pilates at least 1-2x times per week. Consistency is key to improving strength, flexibility, and overall body awareness.

Absolutely! Pilates is an excellent way to aid injury rehabilitation by focusing on controlled movements that strengthen and stabilise the body. Our classes, led by a physiotherapist, are particularly effective in supporting recovery from various injuries.

We understand that life happens. If youโre unable to attend a class, we kindly ask for at least 24 hoursโ notice where possible. While make-up classes are not guaranteed, weโll do our best to accommodate you if space is available.
Our classes run in blocks, with your place reserved for the duration of the term. To ensure fairness for all participants, we do not offer pro rata pricing, refunds, or transfers of unused sessions beyond the scheduled block.
